Examples
Linked Field Display allows you to display data from a Linked Record chosen on your form. You can display data from a single record or from multiple records in a list or grid format. You can choose which fields you want displayed.
How to Add a Field to Your Form
Here’s how to add Airtable Fields or On2Air Custom Fields to your Form
Field Configuration
Field Labels
Title
- Add a title to be displayed above the field as the main name. To leave blank, add a single space
By default, this is the name of your field in Airtable. You can use a different field name than your base and it will not affect the field name in your base.
Sub Title
- Add a subtitle to be displayed above the field. To leave blank, add a single space
You can use text in this field and you can use Markdown to increase text size, bold, or italics

Helper Text
- Add helper text to be displayed below the field. To leave blank, add a single space

Field Status
Determines how the field is displayed on the form
Display Field - Display the field on your form
Hidden Field - This field will be Hidden for the form user, but is visible internally
Linked Field Display Configuration
For any Field you want to use in the Linked Field Display, you MUST add it to the Display Configuration in your Linked Record Field. You can disable the display of that field on the Linked Record (see instructions below), but it still needs to be in the Display Configuration field list.
To disable a field from being displayed on your Linked Record table or Linked Record search box: - Click each field in the Display Configuration and disable the Display on Listing and Display on Lookup options
Select Linked Field
- Choose a Linked Record field
- The Linked Record field must already be added to your form - Linked Record (+ SubForms)
Select Layout
- Set the layout of your Linked field display as either a List or a Grid
Options:
List - Display data as a list
Grid - Display data in a grid - You can choose the number of columns and the width
Grid Options:
Columns - Choose between 1, 2, 3, 4, or 6 columns - Default is 1 column
Grid Box Height - Height of each Grid box in pixels. Enter in value as a number - i.e. 900
Default is 700
Pagination
Pagination adds page numbers and helps you display large amounts of data on multiple pages.
Paginate Results - Enable to turn on pagination for your display results
Rows Per Page - Choose how many rows you want per page
Options:
1, 5, 10, 25, 50, 100
Record Display Format
You can display your Linked Record data using the Fields only option or you can create your own format using Rich Text and Fields
Fields
With Fields, you choose the Fields you want displayed on the List or Grid.
How to Set up Fields
Select Fields
Choose the Airtable Fields you want displayed
- Click Add/Remove Fields
- Click on any field in the Available Fields list you want displayed and click the blue arrow icon to move it over to the Fields to Be Added list. Then, click Done
Rich Text
With Rich Text, you can create your own format and insert your Fields as placeholders. Rich Text allows you to use the text editor with headings, custom text, lists, images, tables, links, and other text formatting.
How to Set Up Rich Text
- Select Rich Text as the Display Format
- Open the Editor by clicking the icon
- Add any text or other formatting options you need
- To insert your Airtable Fields as placeholders in any section, click Add Field
- Click Add next to the Field you want to insert
- When you’re done creating your display, click Save
